Ragi ladoo is a quick and easy recipe packed with numerous nutrition. This is an amazing and healthy snacks for children. Unlike other ladoo varieties which requires time and skill this is an easy recipe for beginners. This iron rich snack is good for women’s health.

Ingredients– (8 – 10 ladoos) Cuisine – Indian/ South Indian/ Tamilnadu Preparation time- 5 mins Cooking time- 10 mins

- Ragi flour (Kelvaragu/ Finger Millet) – 1 cup
- Jaggery – 1/2 cup
- Ghee – 2 tsp
- Cashews – 1 tbsp
- Dry grapes – i tsp
- Cardamom pods- 2
- Water – 1/4 cup
Procedure:
Dry roast ragi flour for 3-4 mins in low flame till you get a nice aroma. Transfer them to a mixing bowl


Add jaggery to pan in low flame and add quarter cup of water. Add 2 cardamom pods. Wait for the syrup to boil and turn off the flame. Filter the syrup and pour the contents over the Ragi flour.



Keep a small pan in a medium flame and add ghee. When the Ghee melts add Cashews and dry grapes. Turn of the flame and transfer them to the mixing bowl. Combine them together



Grease tour hands with ghee and make balls. These balls can be stores in an airtight container. Do try this healthy recipe.
